Disappointing results from yesterdays clash against Newport Breakers in both Colts and 3rd Grade, with both teams convincingly beaten; Colts 7 - 47 and 3rd Grade 0 - 62. 3rd Grade came up against a much younger and fitter team. 2nd Grade put up a much better effort, winning a close tussle 27 - 10.
1st Grade start well, going in at half time in the lead, but squandered this with some poor ball handling, turning over the ball at key times. They never gave up, but eventually went down 17 - 32.
Next week the boys are away to Hills for the 2nd round return match.
